David Anthony Jones

Jones David Anthony Jones age 81, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born October 7, 1943 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to George Jones and Daisey (Keirsey) Jones. He graduated from Butner High School. He served his country as a marine in Vietnam. He attended First Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK. David enjoyed reading, studying archeology, history, fishing, drinking coffee, going on roadtrips, and visiting Arizona. He loved his dogs and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.

David is survived by his wife, Linda Jones of the home; children, Kevin Jones and wife Cynthia of Shawnee, OK, Kelly Jones and wife Manuela of Wassila, AK; grandchildren, Brennen Jones, Samuel Jones; siblings, Roland Jones of Wewoka, OK Melvin Jones and wife Glenna of Shawnee, OK, along with numerous of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Honorary pallbearers: Art Garner, Tim Anderson, Larry Jernigan, Mike Findley, Ronald Sosbee, Brett Breedlove, Brett Stoud, and Jerry Tank.
