Brenda Jo Whitley

Whitley Brenda Jo Whitley, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 67.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Whitley; son, Davy Whitley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Billie and Jackie Gamble of Seminole, OK and Dava and Steve Quisenberry of Seminole, OK; honorary daughter and son-in-law, Lachrisa and Brent Ince; sister-in-law, Paula Barnes; five grandchildren, mother-in-law, Billie Whitley and many other family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Dorr; brother, Phil Barnes and father-in-law, Sherman Whitley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jasmine Moran Humane Society and/or the Phil Barnes Scholarship (make checks out to Duncan Public Schools).

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Seminole. Matt Pollock will be officiating. Also speaking will be Bro. Clint Dawkins, Bro. Butch Bradley and Bro. Jimmy Whitley. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
