Jennifer Jewell Johnston age 75, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born August 15, 1949 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to George “Shorty” Haywood Burk and Faye Lois (Williams) Burk.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Faye and Shorty Burk; brother, George I Burk; nephew, Glen Hulsey; and brotherin-law, Larry Hulsey. Jennifer is survived by her son, George W. Johnston of Okemah, OK; sister, Gayle Hulsey of Graham, TX; nephews, Mike Hulsey of Graham, TX, Brian Conrad and husband Jeremy of McLoud, OK, Mister Benton (Lee) of Holdenville, OK, Trevor Hulsey; two nieces, one great niece, Jersey Conrad of McLoud, one great nephew, along with many other friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 15, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.
