Varnum Whippet C.J. Bernard was honored this week for reaching a milestone of 1,000 points in his high school career by Head Basketball Coach Jon Hadley. Bernard reached the 1,000-point mark Dec. 17 in Lexington, Oklahoma. He was recognized before the start of the boys game Tuesday night against Paden at home.
