A man is in custody following an investigation into a structure fire that broke out shortly after the start of the Seminole Christmas Parade Saturday evening.

Robby Tiger was booked into the Seminole County Jail at 7:10 p.m. Dec. 7 on charges of second-degree arson and public intoxication. As of press time Monday, no official charges had been filed. The investigation was handled by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The fire erupted at a house on Oak Street just north of Broadway. Flames were visible from the parade, which got underway at 5:30 p.m. in the downtown district. At least one fire truck was in the parade lineup.

ATF is the federal agency primarily responsible for administering and enforcing the criminal and regulatory provisions of the federal laws pertaining to destructive devices, explosives, and arson.
