Konawa Tigers Host Elmore City for First Home Game

The Konawa Tigers had their first home game of the season Tuesday night as the Tigers hosted the Elmore City Badgers. The Lady Tigers started the evening off on the wrong foot as the Lady Badgers hit four three-point shots in the first frame to help Elmore City go on a 22-2 run.

NORMAN — The College Football Playoff is coming to Norman. Oklahoma was slotted as the CFP’s No. 8 seed Sunday morning and will host No. 9 seed Alabama in a firstround contest Friday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. CT at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised by ABC and ESPN.

Maud Tigers Host Third Annual Basketball Tournament

Maud, Oklahoma was the location for the Third Annual Maud High School Basketball Tournament this past weekend. The tournament had eight teams competing in the tournament, including Maud. Alex, Cresent, Depew, Fox, Life Christian, Maysville and Wetumka were the other schools competing.

THUNDER WIRE - A winning machine on the floor, the only suspenseful parts of the SGA-less OKC’s visit to Utah happened during stoppages. The first two involved pyrotechnics going off at the top of the shot clock. The third happened less than a minute into the second half.
