INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — For the third straight season, the road to the NBA title goes through Oklahoma City.
And this latest No. 1 seed has put the Thunder in some storied basketball company.
The Wewoka Tigers and Lady Tigers traveled to Shawnee to compete in the OBU Track and Field Invitational Tuesday.
Approximately 35 high schools participated in the events.
Wewoka was the only Seminole County school that competed at the event.
THUNDER WIRE - The Oklahoma City Thunder had an easy 123-87 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. After a slow start, they completely opened it up in the final three-fourths of the game. They led by as many as 41 points.
