ODWC - Youth Spring Turkey Season arrived last weekend (April 11-12) across all of Oklahoma. Hunters 17 and younger had the first chance to harvest a gobbler during these two days ahead of the regular spring turkey season, which will run from April 16 to May 16 statewide.

SONNER WIRE - The Oklahoma Sooners will host their annual spring football game on Saturday in Norman, with kickoff set for noon.

The Maud Tigers hosted the Sasakwa Vikings Tuesday for their senior night. The night was threatened by storm clouds, but the baseball game still went on. The Maud Tigers honored seniors Colt Abbott, Carsyn Bodkins and Jacob Glasco in between the middle school and high school baseball games.

The Seminole State Lady Trojans hosted the Rose State Lady Raiders Saturday afternoon in a double header event. In the first game, the Lady Raiders went to bat first. The SSC Lady Trojans held Rose State scoreless in the inning.
