THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2024 DEAR ABBY: I am allergic to a wide range of scents -- perfume, cologne, laundry detergent, etc. When I am caught in someone’s cloud, my sinuses and lungs burn, which causes instant wheezing and coughing.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 2024 DEAR ABBY: I have been married for the last 25 years to a wonderful man, “Frank.” We are very happy in all areas except for intimacy. Frank has lost all interest in intimacy and sex.

DEAR ABBY: I’m a 77-year-old woman with a 27-year-old granddaughter who loves electronic gadgets and toys. She’s comfortable financially and often buys expensive gifts for me. While I appreciate her generosity and her desire to make my life “easier and more fun,” I simply am NOT INTERESTED in them.

SUNDAY, MAY 5, 2024 DEAR ABBY: I am sad that I haven’t found a long-lasting husband. I’m divorced, and my previous relationships and marriage look like intentional hits. I’m not sure what brought this on. I’m in my 40s and I still would like a man in my life.

The idea to call the season of winter for those 65 and older is just not right. Winter, with its cold biting winds, its cold ice and snow—doesn’t sound appealing to me while living smack dab in the middle of it now. So, let me mess with your mind a bit. Use your imagination.

Where to begin? Two weeks ago, we made the comment that for the Christian, everything needs to have warrant, or approval from Scripture. That includes how and what we study about God.

Hmmm…evidently an often-thought-about and frequently asked question. Along with many other thought-provoking ones, like: If a baby dies, does that infant go to heaven automatically? And will that child be that age for eternity? Others have questions such as; Will we be working in eternity?

FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024 DEAR ABBY: My sister “Sandy” divorced her husband 15 years ago. Her oldest son, “Nick,” has never gotten over it. He’s 30 now and has treated her badly over the years. He not only vandalized her home but has also said horrible things to her.

THURSDAY, MAY 2, 2024 DEAR ABBY: After 10 years of being with my wife, including eight years of marriage, I accidentally discovered she was having affairs online. She put me through weeks of lies, denial, minimizing and obfuscating before finally giving me full disclosure.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1, 2024 DEAR ABBY: I am a lesbian who recently experienced heartbreak by falling in love with my mentor and boss. I didn’t want it to happen, but it did. The time we spent together was a balance of bliss and fear.
