DEAR ABBY: How can I tell if my husband loves me? We have been married 41 years, and during our entire marriage he’s been cheating on me with other women. He takes good care of me and is always there for me and our family. We hardly have sex.

DEAR ABBY: My husband and I have four children, two of whom have congenital health issues we’ve been managing. One child is leading a “normal” life and is a spunky little kid. Our other child may be more impacted down the road, and we continue to seek answers.

DEAR ABBY: I am the single mom of a 19-year-old daughter who copes with bipolar 2, ADHD, anxiety and depression. She has a mental age that’s younger than her adult self. Over the years, she has gone through therapy and changes in medication.

While recently driving through the Arbuckle Mountains— at least in Oklahoma, we call them mountains— as so many times before, I was impressed by all the exposed geological strata cut away during highway construction, leaving sheer cliff walls of beautifully layered rock.

We sure are strange sometimes. Most of the time, we make sense. We’re “sensible” and we do things for a reason. But there are times when we do things that make no sense at all, and we don’t care. Just take pocketknives, for instance. Most men wouldn’t leave the house without one.

Six-year-old Darren was on a first-time visit to the farm. His Pappa had arranged for him to get to see a part of this world that Darren never even knew existed. A real live working farm with all the corrals, fields, outbuildings and animals that a farm needs. Including horses.

DEAR ABBY: I have cancer. I have been expecting to be diagnosed with it since I was a teen. It is my family's disease. My mother is 00 and still has her faculties, but she is frail. I have shared the diagnosis with my children, and I assume they told my grandchildren.

DEAR ABBY: At 82, my father continues to live alone and unassisted. He’s generally in good health but is starting to recognize that he won’t be forever.

DEAR ABBY: I have been married to my wife for three years. She asked me to fix her old computer. As I was doing that, I saw emails from her ex, “Doug,” dated a few months before our wedding. They started with the usual greetings, then proceeded to steamy backand-forth emails.
