Griffin Seminole resident, Christine Carmen Griffin, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 in Shawnee at the age of 100. Christine, the daughter of Vilas and Natha (Scivally) Murphy, was born February 19, 1924, in Lane, Oklahoma. Christine married J.D. Griffin, they made their home in Seminole.

Bowling Thomas “Tommy” Dean Bowling, lifelong Seminole County resident, passed away at the age of 73 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma on July 3, 2024. He was born July 28, 1950 in Cushing, Oklahoma to W.R. “Buster” and Tillums “Tillie” LaJoy (Yancey) Bowling.

Harvey Paula Lou Harvey, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on June 28, 2024 at the age of 71. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 2, 1952, to Louie Dockery and Pauline (Quisenbery) Dockery. Paula grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School in 1970.

Josselyn Jay Scott Josselyn, Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at his home at the age of 60.

Nehimah Nehemiah Jax Oliver McCoy was born July 12, 2009 in Ada, Oklahoma to Jacky and Leslie McCoy. Nehemiah was a constant comfort to all who ever even knew of him. He was a joy to all his family every day of his life. Nehemiah loved others. That is his defining characteristic.
