Evans Jack Ray Evans, 94, passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2025, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and brothers John Glenn and James Glenn.

JoAnn P. Ring, age 83, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, while surrounded by her beloved family at her home in Shawnee. JoAnn was born on January 24, 1942, in Wolf, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe and Leva (Burgess) Pierce.

Susan Kay Ware, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Desoto, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, June Penton and Mary Ann Norman.

William Noris West, Oklahoma City, OK resident passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 64.

Phelps Joelton Mark “The Shark” Phelps died on April 19, 2025, surrounded by family, in a house his grandparents had lived in, on a farm that five generations of his people have called home. He was 73 years old.

Groves Linda Sue Groves age 80, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Swearingen Donald “Toby” Dee Swearingen, a lifelong Seminole resident, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. Toby was born on October 11, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to David Lester Swearingen II and Alpha Belle (Chambers) Swearingen.

Cummins Jo Ann Dugan Cummins of Seminole, Oklahoma finished her course on earth on April 27, 2025. Jo Ann was born on May 14, 1939 to George Earl “Bud” and Georgia Gladys Coffelt Dugan in Archer City, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from high school.

Wells Seminole resident, Daniel “Danny” Wayne Wells passed away in Oklahoma City on March 24th, 2025. Danny was born in 1949 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to the late H.E. (Snag) and Anita Wells. He graduated from Seminole High School in 1967 where he picked up the moniker of Fargo.

Sexton Shirley Ann (Jamison) Sexton, age 87 and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life on April 25, 2025 at Mercy N. Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
