Barnett Mary Jo Smith Barnett passed away at the age of 85 on August 2, 2025, at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Mary Jo was born on March 19, 1940 at Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charley and Maggie (Sanders) Smith.

Alexander Vanessa was born on November 11, 1957 to the parentage of Linzy Lee Rivers and Letha Mae (Napoleon) Rivers, in Shawnee Oklahoma. She was raised in Holtulka, Ok, and was a 1975 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

Shepherd Seminole resident, Walter Ray Shepherd, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his home. Walter, the son of James and Sylvia (Hoover) Shepherd, was born December 22, 1939, in Seminole. He attended Varnum Schools. On July 24, 1958, he married Nina Gail Herring, in Seminole.

Chandler Louise Anna Chandler, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 94. Louise was born on September 9, 1930 in Seminole to Oscar and Dora (Baylor) Arner. She was a graduate of Bowlegs High School.
