Wilson Texarkana, TX resident Geannetta Joy Wilson passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Texarkana at the age of 78. She was born on May 27, 1947 in Holdenville, OK to Alvin Stanley and Bobbie Maude (Cordell) Craig. She was a Seminole High School graduate.

Franklin Peggi Charlene (Lumley) Franklin, age 55 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at her home May 2, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Konawa.

Sonia Rena Scott, 63, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, in Oklahoma City. Born on October 29, 1962, in Seminole, Sonia was the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth (Littlejohn) Gunter. A lifelong resident of Seminole, she cherished her community and roots.

Quinton Doyle Davidson, passed away at the age of 81 on May 3, 2026 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Doyle will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Emmons officiating.

Stinnett Peggy Sue (Cowen) Stinnett, age 77 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away May 1, 2026 at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m.

Knizek Seminole, OK resident Harold Michael Knizek passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Shawnee at the age of 82. Harold was born on November 23, 1943 in Chehalis, Washington to Joseph Knizek and Mildred Jo (Hall) Marx. He was a 1961 graduate of Bowlegs High School.

Bunyan Helen Louise Bunyan, 75, passed away in Oklahoma City on April 22, 2026, after an 11-year battle with cancer. Helen was born July 5, 1950, in Liberal, Kansas, to Lester Fred Bunyan and Opal Pearl (Shedd) Bunyan.

Eva Lucille “Lucy” Dotson (Bounds), affectionately known as “Ms. Thompson,” passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. Born on August 12, 1942, in Vamoosa, Oklahoma, Lucy dedicated her life to her family and her passion for education.
