Woods Cynthia Ann Woods was born to Riley and Mary Martin on June 12, 1955, in Dallas, Texas. She grew up under the wide Texas sky with her younger brothers, Mike and Matt. It was under that same sky she met the love of her life, Steven Earl Woods.

Eloina Lydia “Renee” Rice, Seminole area resident, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Gospel of Life Disciples + Dwellings in Moore at the age of 55.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025 Hazel Marie Rice was met by her Savior in paradise at the age of 88 years – two months shy of her 89th birthday. Hazel Marie Rice was born on Saturday, November 28, 1936, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Claude and Lois Fields.

Preston Clark, age 85, passed away on September 14, 2025. Preston was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma the son of Elmer and Selma Clark. Preston grew up and graduated from Wewoka High School in 1958. Preston later married Shirley Ann Cook in 1959 in Wewoka.

Stanberry Thelma Regina Stanberry fell asleep in death on September 13th, 2025. She was born on January 13, 1925, to Frank and Maud Heck. Her siblings were J.R., William “Dick”, Henry, Ruby, Frank, Tyrone and James. She married her husband Harold on December 26th, 1939.

Carr EllaRueCarr,Wewoka resident, passed away on September 9, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 84. Ella was born on July 7, 1941 in Bradley, OK to Carl and Golda (Gunter) Hamit. She worked as secretary to Wewoka attorneys A.C. Kidd and David Boren and later at Wewoka Jr. High School.

Kain Vance Everett Kain, 66, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Edmond. Vance, the son of Clyde Kain and Nora (Bussey) Brenner, was born November 6, 1958, in Seminole. He proudly served in the US Army.

Brawdy Henrietta (Retta) Adell Brawdy, was born November 29, 1942 in Konawa, OK. She passed away August 30, 2025 at the age of 82. She was a devoted and loving sibling, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her laugh was infectious and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Graves Mr. Robert Lee Graves, Sr., 80, was born on December 7, 1944, to Sam and Beatrice Graves in Little Rock/Mineral Springs, Arkansas. He entered eternal rest on September 7, 2025.

Davidson Seminole resident, Bertha Lee Davidson, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Shawnee. Bertha, the daughter of James and Oleta (Davis) Richard, was born December 10, 1947, in Seminole. She grew up in Maud, and graduated from Maud High School, with the class of 1966.
