Morgan Douglas E. Morgan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather passed away December 14, 2025. Born on February 19, 1943, to the late John and Ruby Morgan, Doug’s life was characterized by his dedication to his family, his students, and his vibrant, friendly nature.

Holt Hudson Bruce Holt, 29, passed away at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City on December 17, 2025. A service honoring Hudson’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Chisholm Creek Baptist Church, 17600 N. Western, Edmond, Oklahoma, 73012.

Watters Jimmy Edward Watters age 81, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at his home in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. He was born February 10, 1944 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Alvie Watters and Mary Lou (Tarpley) Watters. He married Mary Pauletta Bryant in Wewoka, Oklahoma in 1962.

Watson A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, 127 N.W. 7th, in Oklahoma City for former Seminole resident, Dr. Mary Jo Watson who passed away on Nov. 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 88.

Sherwood “Jim” Jimmy Locust Jr. age 56, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robyn Locust, Ronnie Locust; sister, Sandra Weaver, and Nancy Locust.

Seminole resident, David William Haney, 75, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Oklahoma City. David, the son of Rev. Vernon and Francis (Jim) Haney, was born December 26, 1949, in Holdenville. A resident of Hughes County, David graduated from Moss High School, with the class of 1968.

Bartel LaTina Gay “Tina” (McMillion) Bartel, lifelong Seminole area resident, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 68.

Brown Shawna Kay Brown (Hester) passed peacefully on December 11, 2025 in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 59.
