Randolph “RD” Coody, age 64 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away September 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Alma Jean Mathis, Maud resident, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her home, at the age of 89. Alma was born on April 27, 1934 in Ft. Collins, Colorado to Alex Haas and Pauline (Greenwald) Haas. She married J. C. Mathis on January 23, 1956 in El Sobrante, California.

Christine Overstreet Samuel, age 71, passed away August 29, 2023 in Raleigh, N.C. Christine was born October 29, 1951 in OKC to Bennie and Marie Overstreet. She attended and graduated from New Lima School in 1968. She is preceded in death by her father Bennie Overstreet Sr.

Brent Wayne Parks passed away September 8th, 2023 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 54. Brent was born May 10th, 1969 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Billy “Buster” Carl Parks and Louetta Marie (Clark) Parks. Brent graduated from Wewoka High School. He attended Seminole Jr.

Seminole resident, Laura Hale, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Shawnee at the age of 61. Laura, the daughter of Billy Joe and Christine (Meek) Pierce, was born October 18, 1961 in Seminole.

Mary Marjorie (McChesney) Shell, former resident of Seminole and Bowlegs, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2023 in Artesia, New Mexico at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fred “Pete” Shell and her son George Fred Shell.

Joyce Williams Harbeston was born on January 5, 1936 and passed to her heavenly home on September 9, 2023. She was greeted by her husband Kenneth, her father Buel Williams, her mom and stepdad Violet and Haskell Rogers, brother Jim Williams and sisters Sondra McKee and Keitha Watts.

Willard Conner of Shawnee, OK passed away at the age of 91 on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Willard was born on August 16, 1932, in Silver Lake, KS, to Elmont Owen Conner and Susie Ann (Jeffries) Conner. He attended high school in New Lima, OK.

Harjo Former Seminole resident, Percy Dean Harjo, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 in Paris, Texas at the age of 69 years. Percy, the son of Samsochee and Imogene (Little) Harjo, was born December 5, 1953, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He graduated from Strother High School.
