TFCU Pays Off Storm Shelter Loan For Shawnee Member

Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) paid off the storm shelter loan of a local Shawnee member as part of the credit union’s 2026 Storm Shelter Loan Payoff Sweepstakes. Briceton Arnold was selected in a random drawing, and his remaining TFCU storm shelter loan balance of $2,157 was paid in full.

Murder Suspect Waives Right to Trial

A man set to stand trial early next month in a local murder case has accepted a plea deal and will not face a jury. In August 2024, John Nolte II was arrested and charged with first degree murder for the 2023 slaying of Jacob Washington of Seminole.
