Seminole State College Announces Expected Graduates

Seminole State College students completing degree requirements at the end of the 2026 spring and summer semesters, along with 2025 fall graduates, participated in the College’s 93rd Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 8. The graduation ceremony was held at 10 a.m.

The Data Center Consumer Ratepayer Protection Act is now headed to the governor’s desk. I was proud to serve as the Senate author of this bipartisan legislation, which passed both chambers unanimously.

Prayer When it Matters Most

As we close out the Second Session of the 60th Oklahoma Legislature, the House officially adopted a resolution to Sine Die on Thursday, May 14. We adjourned to the call of the chair on May 7 after completing action on all remaining legislation before the constitutional deadline.

Forum to Feature Leadership Seminole Graduation

Area citizens who have completed Class XXIII of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Seminole program will be recognized as part of the monthly forum on Thursday, May 14. The luncheon meeting will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Haney Center at Seminole State College.
