Varnum Whippet Head Basketball Coach Jon Hadley is keeping his teams warmed up during the holiday break with some scrimmages.

On Monday, the Varnum Lady Whippets scrimmaged against Eufaula at Varnum.

On Tuesday, the Varnum Whippet boys scrimmaged against Okemah at Varnum.

The last of the scrimmages will be on Saturday against Wetumka the 3rd of January.

Saturday’s games will start at 11 a.m. will the Lady Whippets hitting the court first.

The Varnum Lady Whippets are ranked #5 with a record of 9-2 this season and will participate in the Mulhall-Orlando Tournament on the 8th through the 10th of January.

The Varnum Whippets are ranked #5 with a record of 11-0 this season and will also participate at Mulhall-Orlando. The next home game for the Whippets and Lady Whippets is on the 13th of January against Macomb.

The games are set to start at 6:30 p.m.
