Seminole State Soccer Shutout NOC in Last Home Game

The Seminole State Soccer girls returned to their game plan of shutting out their opponents Wednesday afternoon when they took on Northern Oklahoma College – Enid at home.

The Lady Trojans just came off from their trilling game against the number 2 Iowa Western Lady Reivers which ended in a tie 2-2 and still remain with an undefeated record of 14-0-2 heading into the game.

It didn’t take too long for Seminole State to get on the scoreboard. Aniyah White-Nurse scored the first goal, unassisted to put the Lady Trojans ahead by one.

At the 13:41 minute mark, Ashley Perez scored the second, assisted by Jasmine Barney.

Megan Knapp got in on the action scoring a goal which shew was assisted by Barney and White-Nurse.

To close out the first half for SSC, Knapp scored again, this time she was assisted by Yiselle Bernal and Gabrielle Deleon.

Seminole took a 4-0 lead into the half.

Lady Trojan Avery Lang got things started in the second half with Seminole State’s fifth goal. White-Nurse was on the assistance.

Meagan Knapp scored her third goal of the game at the 67-minute mark and was assisted by Leslie Razo.

Seminole State put the game away with two more goals by White-Nurse and Perez. Both were unassisted.

The Seminole State Lady Trojans moved their record to 15-0-2 on the season.

The goalie for the first half was Caroline Mobley who had 2 saves and Ella Copenhaver was the second half goalie who had 2 saves also.

Seminole State was plagued by fouls, but it didn’t deter them from shutting out NOC.

Seminole State Soccer girls are closing in at the end of their season. The last game for the Lady Trojan is an away game at Connors State on Sunday the 27th at 2 p.m.

Regionals will begin at the end of October and run to the first two days of November.
