Seminole County Football Player Chosen to Play in Hawaii

Posted in:

Seminole Chieftain football player Austin Smith was chosen for a once in a lifetime opportunity to play football in Hawaii in the 2025 Hawaii Tiki Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii December 17-22.

Austin Smith plays wide receiver and defensive end for the Seminole High School Chieftains and will be a senior this coming fall. He was chosen along with 80 athletes from all over the nation to participate in this event.

“I feel extremely blessed and thankful for the opportunity to go and compete there and against other great players,’ stated Austin Smith.

The kids that were chosen were invited by a high school or college coach to go. Some of the biggest and best colleges will be attending this week’s event.

“As Austin’s parents, we are so proud of him,” stated Sarah Wolf. “He puts a lot of work into football during the season and off. He’s a good kid and we are blessed to have him as a son and getting to travel wherever he goes is a huge honor.”

Traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii will be Austin and his parents first time to go to Hawaii this December.

Austin Smith’s favorite quote is “God made you fail to see if you’ll keep trying”.

Congratulations Austin.
