NORMAN — Oklahoma Softball associate head coaches JT Gasso and Jennifer Rocha were named to the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) coaching pool for the 202528 quad as made public by USA Softball Monday.

The 2025-28 quad includes WNT camps and international events during that time span. Rocha and Gasso join head coach Patty Gasso as Sooners with the WNT in the 2025-28 quad.

JT Gasso joined Oklahoma as an assistant in 2016 before taking on his current role as associate head coach. During that span the Sooners have claimed six national titles, 18 conference championships and numerous statistical records while working primarily with OU outfielders and hitters.

Rocha, a double graduate of the University of Oklahoma, returned to OU as associate head coach in 2018 and has served as an integral part in Oklahoma’s four consecutive national titles between 2021-24. The Sooners have had three Big 12 Pitchers of the Year in the circle during her time at OU, while with last year’s pitching staff turning in a combined 23 shutouts.

“USA Softball is excited to have a talented team of assistant coaches who will train and prepare our athletes over the next four years,” said Chief Sport Development/ Performance Officer, Chris Sebren. “This group brings a great mix of experience, including former U.S. Olympians and new coaches, as well as individuals who have previously been involved in the program. Together, they will work tirelessly to ensure that our teams are ready to take on the world.” While selection to this pool guaran tees support through 2028, the official Coaching Staff for upcoming interna tional events will be announced prior to the event start. The upcoming 2025 season will include The World Games, slated for August 13-17, 2025, in Chengdu, China. The U.S. will compete alongside top opponents from across the world in hopes of claiming its fourth World Games gold medal.
