CENTRAL

Arcadia: March 17. Elevation is 0.5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 52°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass slow on buzz baits and jerk baits around coves and shorelines. Channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, and shad around coves and shorelines. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, and docks. Hefner: March 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits around brush structure, points, and shorelines. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Blue and channel catfish fair on dough bait, live shad, punch bait, and worms around docks, main lake, and rocks. Texoma: March 16. Elevation is 3 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 56°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live bait, live shad, and sassy shad around channels, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, and punch bait around channels, coves, docks, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and jigs around coves and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been okay. Striper have been a little tougher this week. Live bait has been good for them. Catfish are biting near channels and the mouth of the river with cut bait or live shad.
