2025 International Finals Youth Rodeo Entries Close June 13
SHAWNEE, Okla. – Entries are now open for the highly anticipated 2025 International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR), returning to Shawnee, Oklahoma, July 6–11. The event brings together youth rodeo’s top competitors for six days of elite action.
Competitors can enter at NextGen.com through 5 p.m. CT on June 13. All registration forms must be completed and submitted by the same deadline.
The entry fee is $200 per event and must be paid through NextGen.com. Non-members of the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) must also purchase a $45 IFYR permit at the time of entry.
New this year, athletes must complete and upload the registration form before entering.
To reserve camping spots or stalls, visit OpenStalls. com. Reservations open April 1 at 8 a.m. CT and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the time of entry submission.
Now in its 33rd year, the IFYR is one of the world’s richest and most prestigious youth rodeos, awarding more than $250,000 in prize money across 11 performances. The event attracts nearly 1,000 athletes each year from more than 35 states and three countries.
Performances begin Sunday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. and continue through Friday, July 11, with the final round also at 7:30 p.m. Events are held across three arenas simultaneously.
Events include cowgirls’ barrel racing, cowgirls’ pole bending, cowgirls’ breakaway roping, cowgirls’ goat tying, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding. The competition includes two long-go rounds and a short-go round featuring the top 15 contestants in each event.

In 2024, nearly $250,000 was dished out over six days and featured nearly 1000 entries from three countries and 35 states.
This year’s event will also serve as an Ote Berry’s Junior Steer Wrestling World Championship Qualifier and a Junior Patriot Team Roping Qualifier. More details to come regarding additional side-pots and bonus opportunities.
