Seminole resident Wilbur Johnson passed away Tuesday March 29, 2022.

Wilbur, the son of Thomas and Misselda (Caney) Johnson, was born September 12, 1951 in Oklahoma City. Wilbur grew up in Wewoka and graduated from Wewoka High School. Wilbur was a truck driver, over the years he drove for Johnson Trucking and for Ronnie Allison Trucking. He enjoyed ranching; watching OU and the Dallas Cowboys; riding horses; and watching westerns.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cheryl Johnson; siblings, Flora McGirt, Jimmy Johnson, Jeannete Spencer, Abbey Lewis, Edward Johnson, Florence Frank, and Tommy Johnson.

Wilbur is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rachel Johnson of Hot Springs, AR, and Jack Johnson of Seminole; daughters and sons-in-law Ryan and Angie Ward of Edmond, and Jim Ray and Mischelle Frazier of Wewoka; grandchildren, Michiah Johnson, Kaiden Johnson, Ellie Johnson, Tegan Johnson, Kizzie Johnson, Carter Johnson, Caitlyn Miller, Erica Frazier, and Sayler Ward; two sisters and brother-in-law, Katie Harjo of Oklahoma City and Hector and Cynthia Castro of Altus; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Michiah Johnson, Philip Cascavilla, Hector Castro, Rodney Johnson, Tristan Johnson and Chastin Johnson. Honorary casket bearers will be Kaiden Johnson, Danny Williams, Ronnie Allison, Ronnie Dice, Joe Craig, Windell Myers and Ray Evans.

There will be a wake service Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole.

Services will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Chapel, with Kellos Walker and Curtis Kinney officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
