Walter Sutton

Walter O. Sutton, aged 96, went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2019.

He was born December 11, 1922, in Morris OK to parents Samuel Jesse Sutton and Mary Willhoit Sutton.

He attended school at Beggs, Ok and Vamoosa, Ok.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945 in the Philippians. Walter worked for Canadian Valley Electric for many years and retired from B&L Electric.

Walter enjoyed watching OU football, family gatherings, and attending church. His favorite activity was relaxing on his front porch with his wife of 71 years, Charlsey Hanna Sutton.

Walter is survived by his wife Charlsey, son Jerry Sutton and wife Freida, daughter Sharon Perry, and son in law Frank Perry, all of Seminole.

4 grandchildren Bryan Perry of Oklahoma City, Todd Perry of Oklahoma City, Jared Sutton of Seminole and Heather Sutton-Presley of Byng; 10 great grandchildren, and a sister, Lo Scott of Arizona.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and 5 brothers Earnie, Arnom, Clyde, Carl, and Bill Sutton, 3 sisters Rena Carter, Clara Rigdon, and Mamie Pearl Sutton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Vamoosa Baptist Church in Vamoosa, Ok with Bruce Sanders officiating.
