Vernice James passed away Sunday, June 14th, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Vernice Kemp James born November 19th 1946 in Seminole County to William Kemp (Biological Father), and Herlena Mitchell Kemp Spencer.
Her father William and 3 brothers Robert Jr., Louis Kemp (Ollie Ruth) and William R. and 1 sister Clyde T. Kemp Bruner and her step father Clyde I Spencer preceded her in death.
Vernice is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” James, two sons, Gerald James Jr. of OKC, Terry James of OKC, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Wanda Williams of OKC and Pauline Davis of Wewoka, brother, Gene Kemp of Shawnee , her other sisters, Sheron Mims and Reujena Winrow.
Wake service will be 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday June 26, 2020 at New Jerusalem Evangelistic Temple in OKC.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 27, 2020 at New Jerusalem Evangelistic Temple in OKC with interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Wewoka.
