Tina Sue Crawford, age 59, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed from this life and entered the Gates of Heaven early Wednesday morning June 24, 2020.

Her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, knew she was tired and called her home.

There to meet her were her mother, her grandparents, her Crawford in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tina was born October 4, 1960 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Melvin and Betty (Terrell) Underwood.

She graduated from Seminole High School in 1978. She was a proud Chieftain cheerleader all her high school days and was an All-State Cheerleader for football and basketball. She then went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at OU and Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority in Seminole.

Tina retired after 29 years as a social worker with the Department of Human Services.

She married her husband, Keith, in Seminole, Oklahoma on August 24, 1990.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole.

She enjoyed going to Eufaula Lake. She also loved theme parks like Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Six Flags. She loved good movies and watched Grease and Titanic many times.

She was a precious wife, daughter and a wonderful mother.

Tina is survived by her husband Keith, her son Clay and her daughter Kelsey, all of Seminole, Oklahoma, her dad and step-mother, Melvin and Bobbie Underwood of Shawnee, Oklahoma, her aunt and uncle; Tommy and Sandy Russell of Amarillo, Texas and many cousins and friends.

Tina was loved by many and will be sorely missed. We are comforted with the knowledge that one day we will be reunited and what a glorious day that will be.

Funeral services for Tina will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Carl Whitfield officiating.

Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tina’s memory to Interfaith Social Ministries, P.O. Box 1602, Seminole, Oklahoma 74818.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
