Thompson

Thomas “Tommy” Allen Thompson, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at SSM Health Hospital in Seminole at the age of 62.

Tommy was born February 19, 1961 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Logan Noel and Wanola Lavada (Cozad) Thompson. He married Leah (Emmitt) in 2001 and they resided in the Seminole and Bowlegs area ever since.

Tommy was a lifelong truck driver. That was his passion, and he was one of the best. He was working for Farmers Oil of Anthony, Kansas at the time of his passing. Tommy always called when he was out on the road to ‘check-in’ and give weather updates. When he wasn’t on the road, Tommy enjoyed fishing and loved having everyone over so he could grill for them. Tommy was an amazing husband, dad, papa and friend. He loved so big and always made sure everyone was taken care of. His greatest joy were his grandbabies whom he loved all so very much. Papa was Santa in all the grandkids eyes and they could do no wrong. Many precious memories were made with Tommy that will be cherished forever.

Surviving Tommy are his wife Leah of the home; children, Brittany Bolles and husband Sam, Brett Jones, Jr and wife Victoria; grandchildren, Bretlea, Kanon and Everly Bolles and Grace and Ella Jones; two sisters, Dr. Pamela Corvelli and Kathy Elwood and husband Andy; nieces and nephews, Debbie Summers and husband Mike and their children, Aubrey, Isabella, Alicezandra, Mara and Mikey, Darrin Pike and his kids, Autumn and Shelby; Kenny Pike and daughter Amanda, Joyce Gooding and husband Tim and their children Cody, Josh, Zach, Rebecca and Garett, Jackie Brown and husband Tim and their children Katherine, Stephanie and Sydney, and a host of other family and dear friends. Tommy also had two dogs that he loved to take with him on the road sometimes, Taco and Finley.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Logan and Wanola Thompson; one brother, Alvin Lee Frank and a nephew, Alvin Lee Frank, Jr.
