Terry Yarbrough

Yarbrough Terry Val Yarbrough, Seminole, OK resident passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. Terry was born on November 26, 1944 in Wewoka, OK to Orbin Val and Lydia Pauline (Walker) Yarbrough.

He served in both the United States Army and the Navy. He served aboard the USS Hornet. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Orbin and Lydia Yarbrough; spouse of over 50 years, Cherlene Jones Yarbrough and brother, Ricky Allen Yarbrough.

Terry is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Yarbrough of Seminole, OK; son, Danny Yarbrough of Seminole, OK; two daughters, Tamara Yarbrough of the home and Kimberly Yarbrough of Bakersfield, CA; three sisters, Linda Medlock of Tecumseh, OK, Valerie Yarbrough-Wells of Inola, OK and Adrienne Henson of Forgan, OK; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Viewing will be Monday, January 6, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with David Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Tate Mountain Seminole in Wewoka. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
