Terry Lynn “Dusty” Shaw, age 55 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away May 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at High Springs Baptist Church of Konawa, and funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28th at the Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Burial will follow at the church cemetery, and Skip Foster and Eric Thlocco will officiate. Casket bearers are Brandon Myers, Bill Spain, Jr., William Spain, Ronnie Harjo, Clayton Shaw, and Chance Yellowfish. Dusty was born December 22, 1966 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Wayne Edward Shaw and Annie Julia (Cully) Shaw. After graduating from Konawa High School, she graduated from college in Las Cruces, New Mexico as a Water Technician. Dusty had a love for sports, and she was a national gymnast. She loved going to casinos and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Annie Shaw of the home; one daughter, Summer Shaw also of the home; one son, Dakota Shaw and wife, Mary Allen of Ada, Oklahoma; one brother, James Shaw and wife, Chrystal of Konawa; two sisters, Rhonda Shaw and Leander Yellowfish of Konawa, and Anjanen Shaw of Georgia; three grandchildren, Quentin, Taylynn, and Brandon; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rev. Joe and Viola Spain; maternal grandparents, Noma and Lowina Cully; and two grandchildren, Trey and Michael Myers.
