Terry Allen “Blues” Harjo, age 60 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away May 31, 2022 at his home.

He will be taken to the home 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and he will be taken at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2nd for a wake service at 7:00 p.m. at High Springs Baptist Church in Konawa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3rd at the church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Burial will follow at Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and Rev. Skip Foster and Bo Whitekiller will officiate. Casket bearers are Roman Cosar, Brandon Harjo, Patrick Harjo, Simon Garcia, John Harjo, Israel Prieto, Joshua Pickett, Terence Harjo, Brian Harjo, and Tyce Harrison. Honorary bearers are Danny Howell, Floyd Smith, Herman Foster, James Heard, Harper Givens, Keanan Lawrence, Wyatt Wolf, Hvtvlke-yahola Deere, and Norman Hill.

Blues was born July 25, 1961 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Carlee Lincoln Harjo and Francis “Pauline” Harjo.

He is survived by two sons, Nathaniel Harjo and wife, Crystal of the home, and Micheal Harjo of Del City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Susan Givens and Israel Prieto of Wichita Falls, Texas, Paula Lewis of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Eugenia Givens of Anadarko, Oklahoma; three brothers, Carl Harjo and wife, Christine of Seminole, Oklahoma, Dale Harjo of the home, and David Harjo also of the home; one sister, Cecelia Harjo and Danny Howell of Vamoosa, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlee and Pauline Harjo; one brother, Jeffrey Lee Harjo, one sister, LaHoma Harjo; and one nephew, Joseph Daniel Bounds.
