Mason Norman resident, Tanika Nikole Mason passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

Tanika, the daughter of Mickey and Cindy (Buchanan) Lovett, was born August 10, 1977, in Oklahoma City. Tanika graduated from Purcell High School with the class of 1995. After high school she attended cosmetology school and started work as a beautician. On August 5th, 2013, she married Christopher Mason, in Jamaica. She enjoyed dancing, fast cars, and tattoos. She also liked to slow things down and spend time floating in the pool, walking disc golf courses with her husband, and gardening. Tanika enjoyed a good party, when her friends and family had a reason for a party, she was first in line to help plan it. There was nothing, however, as important to Tanika as spending time with her family, especially her children, she loved being a mom.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Tanika is survived by her husband, Christopher, of the home; her sons, Malachi Mason, and Maddox Mason; her mother, Cindy Lovett, of Purcell; her brother, Daniel Lovett, of Purcell; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
