Tamara Rene Harper, age 33 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at her home Monday, September 30, 2019.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Pentecostal Holiness Church located at 126 N. Konawa Street under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Ron Gadberry will officiate.
Tamara was born October 4, 1985 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Charles Gene Bussey and Elvena Marlene (Harper) Cross.
She was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, and she worked as a cashier for Golden Coral and later for Cracker Barrel.
Tamara was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Konawa, and she loved to play tennis and to watch scary movies. She also loved music and to be with people.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Elvena and Jerry Cross of Konawa; one brother Timothy Harper of Konawa; and one sister, Tina O’Neil of Maud, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Bussey and grandmother, Patsy Marlene Born.
