Long time Wewoka resident, Sterlin D. Elmore passed away Monday, January 11th, 2021 at his home in Tecumseh.

Sterlin was born August 29th, 1936 in Gene Autry, Oklahoma to Floyd Elmore and Floy Jordan Elmore.

He graduated from Mill Creek Schools and later married the love of his life, Clemma Kennedy February 28, 1959 in Holdenville, Ok.

Sterlin retired as Foreman for Seminole County.

He enjoyed building and racing motorcycles and cars, He even built a house with one helper, he also enjoyed going to the lake, spending time with his family and going to his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Sterlin is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Brandon Smith, brothers, Herman, George and Gerald Elmore, sisters, Wanda Williams and Helen Thomas.

Sterlin is survived by his wife, Clemma Elmore of the home, son, Randy Elmore and wife Shelly of Tecumseh, daughter, Paula and husband Brad Smith of Wewoka, grandchildren, Amber and Blake Christ of Tecumseh and Riley Elmore of Tecumseh, Sisters, Maxine Priddy of Sulphur and Dorothy Spicer of Houston, TX. and numerous other relatives and friends.

Private family only graveside service will be held due to Covid 19.

Public viewing and register book will be available 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
