Shirley Luella Fowler of Sasakwa was born on November 14, 1940 near County Line, Oklahoma to Rodney J. and Ona (Ginn) Severs. She passed from this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.

While growing up, Shirley attended schools in Oklahoma City, Moore, Maysville, Antioch, and Elmore City since her dad worked in the oilfield they moved around a lot. She married L. B. Fowler at Pauls Valley on June 24, 1957. Shirley was a devoted homemaker along with helping her husband do the farming and ranching. Together they raised two sons of their own, Rodney and Lee Wayne, and also two brothers, Tim Lee and Eugene Lovelace.

Survivors include her sons, Rodney Fowler and Karla of Paden and Lee Wayne Fowler and Terry of Weatherford, Texas; and Eugene Lovelace of Oklahoma City.

Sister-in-law, Marcill Fowler and brother-in-law, Hadley Erdman.

13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends and relatives.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Ona Severs; husband, L. B. Fowler; sisters, Margarite Hacker, Joequetta Fowler; and brother, Nathan Lee Severs; and son, Tim Lee Lovelace.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 25, 2021at the Maysville Cemetery with Rev. Bill Chesser and Rev. Lee Wayne Fowler officiating. Burial is under the direction of John W.
