Sherwood Locust

Sherwood “Jim” Jimmy Locust Jr. age 56, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robyn Locust, Ronnie Locust; sister, Sandra Weaver, and Nancy Locust.

Jim is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Dixon of the home; daughter, Katy Jones and husband Austin of Okmulgee, OK; step-daughters, Tracie Hulbutta of Wewoka, OK, Feather Dixon of Seminole, OK; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Tiger of Shawnee, OK, Rosie Locust of Glennpool, OK, Sarah Pulse of Porum, OK, Sherry Garrett of Park Hill, OK along with numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Locust held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor Henry Birdtail officiating. Interment to follow at Dixon Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
