Hilburn Maud resident, Sherry Hilburn, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 75.

Sherry, the daughter of Robert “Buck” and Bertha (Guinn) Fletcher, was born February 9, 1950, in Pawhuska. She attended Maud Schools. On July 23, 1993, Sherry married Randy Hilburn, in Las Vegas. She was an animal lover, notably owning her 5 mini horses, along with several donkeys and dogs and cats. Sherry enjoyed road trips, but she didn’t want to take the standard routes, she wanted to get off the beaten path when she travelled. She loved to take dirt road “shortcuts.” Another beloved pastime was being on the Oklahoma craft show circuit; Sherry and Randy did wood jewelry boxes with hidden drawers. Over the years, they had made many friends at these events. Sherry also loved to gift others their wooden jewelry boxes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Bertha Fletcher; her daughter, Tinna Lowden; her brothers, Verlin, David, Joe and Gerald; sister, Bernice Stalnaker and a stepson, Randy Hilburn Jr.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Randy Hilburn, of the home; sons, Tommy King and Scotty King; Ginger King; stepsons, Brian Hilburn and Nevin Hilburn; grandchildren, Keely, Kendra, Kade, Jessica, Trace, Casey, Cody, and Zach; great grandchildren, Henry, Riley AJ , Avery. A brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Pat Fletcher; sister-in-law Colleen Fletcher; nephews, Cary, Larry, Barry, Robbie, Steven and many other family members and friends.

Services will be Monday, May 12, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery in Maud, with interment to follow at Cummings Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
