Shereata Brane “Pete” Silva, Oklahoma City resident, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 60. Shereata was born on May 28, 1961 in Oklahoma City, to Marvin Vigil and Susie Ann Burgess-Worcester. She grew up in Seminole.

Shereata loved reading her Bible, listening to country music and thrift shopping.

Shereata is survived by three sons Frankie Warledo of MN, Dalton Carpenter of Oklahoma City and Skylar Carpenter of Midwest City; two daughters, Raeceata Vigil of Oklahoma City and Penni Warledo of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Ceasar Vigil and Dino Velo and wife, Rhoda Jacob; two sisters, Richa Villescas and Channon Worcester; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many other family and friends.

Shereata was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Burgess; father, Marvin Vigil and daughter, Shavarea Carpenter.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Rev. Dan Factor officiating.

Pall bearers will be Ceasar Vigil, Dino Velo, Derek Vigil, Arron King, Isaac Jacob and Ronnie Checotah. Honorary pall bearers will be Damian King and Brandon Vigil.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
