Sheila Irene (Buckmaster) Grove

Sheila Irene (Buckmaster) Grove, 63 year old Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed away March 30, 2020 at her son’s home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born December 10, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Roy “Jim” Oliver Buckmaster and Lorene Frances (Collier) Buckmaster.

She lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma most of her life and moved to Maud when she got married to Clifford Grove. Sadly, he passed away September 27, 2008.

Sheila was a hairdresser most of her life.

She also worked in the cafeteria at Maud School and enjoyed meeting the kids and making them laugh.

She liked shopping, music and photo albums. She loved being with her family and helping them in any way she could. She was always involved in family functions.

Sheila is survived by her father, Jim Buckmaster, her sons; Sean Weems of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Chandler Grove of Maud, Oklahoma, her daughter; Jamie Hasbell and her husband David of Asher, Oklahoma, her brother; Duane Buckmaster of Shawnee, Oklahoma, her grandchildren; Dava Hasbell, Jr. Hasbell and Ashley Snider-Jones and her great grandchildren; River Strange and Brecken and Baylor Snider-Jones.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Lorene Buckmaster.

Visitation will be from noon to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home 1001 N. Milt Phillips Avenue in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Graveside services for Sheila will be at Friday, April 3, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Carl Whitfield officiating.

Due to the new CDC guidelines regarding COVID 19, the cemetery is limiting the number of people who can attend services, so attendance at Sheila’s funeral is by invitation only.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
