Shawna Brown

Brown Shawna Kay Brown (Hester) passed peacefully on December 11, 2025 in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 59.

Shawna was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hester; grandparents, Buck and Evelyn Hester and Margie Jackson; uncle, Harvey Hester; aunts, Dorothy Prewitt and Mary Beth Whilhelm; and cousin, Penny Perry.

Shawna is survived by her daughters, Kayla Ringle and husband, Charles of Paden, and Dakota Cheatwood and husband Trevor of Paden; her mother, Martha Hester of Seminole; brother, Mark Hester and partner Dusty Dosh of Seminole; her sisters, Laura Immel and husband Joe of Seminole, and Kenna Hester of Midway, Tennessee; and six grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Services for Shawna will be held on December 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Highway Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
