Wewoka resident, Scott Lee Fox, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023.

Scott, the son of Raymond and Wanda (Chupco) Fox, was born October 19, 1978, in Wewoka. He worked as an oil field worker. He enjoyed watching football and western movies. Scott also attended the Wewoka Indian Baptist Church. He was well known and respected by his friends and family. His family was very important to him; he always ended phone conversations by telling the person he was speaking to that he loved that person and to be sure and tell the family that he loved them. He loved his conversations with his grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Fox; a brother, Joseph Chupco; and his grandparents, Louis and Juanita Chupco and Geneva and Milo Fox.

Scott is survived by his mother, Wanda Fox; his son, Colton Cotterman, of Shawnee; brothers, Tommy Chupco, of Tahlequah and Kevin Fox, of Seminole; and his grandson, Chance Cotterman; along with many other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Kenneth Camp, Creighton Billy, James Shawnee, Darrin Camp, Michael Lincoln, and Aaron Prado.

There will be a wake service, Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church.

Services will be Monday, June 26, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Little Quartsarty Cemetery in Cromwell. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
