Ronald Alexander Hawkins, age 77, passed away on March 14, 2021 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born March 27, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Alexander DeBra Hawkins and Verna Mae (Franklin) Matthews. He spent most of his life in Tulsa and Seminole. He was a high school graduate and attended college. In between his various career changes and time in the military, he was a professional truck driver.

Ronald served his country in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard and served three tours in Vietnam. He was a Mason, a Hard-Core Republican and a member of the NRA. When he was young, he played in a band and in his later years he loved karaoke. He was an amazing guitar player and singer, loved beautiful women, cold beer and his country. He could talk for hours without taking a breath. He knew how to do anything and everything and would make sure you knew it. He enjoyed watching westerns, talking politics and working on and around his log cabin.

Ronald is survived by his daughters; Marsha Aaron and Coby of McKinney, Texas and Ronica Rhude and Randy of Platte City, Missouri, daughter-in-law; Barbara Hawkins of Leonard, TX, sisters; Gina Pace and Rodney of Seminole, Oklahoma and Pat Sullivan of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Bobby Hawkins, Nicholas Rhude, Ryanne Rhude and Miranda Rhude and his niece Lauren Pace and nephews, Brenden Pace and Austin Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Robert “Bobby” Hawkins and William “Billy” Hawkins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
