Roger Calvin Kirkwood

Roger Calvin Kirkwood of Ocean Park, Washington passed away unexpectedly on June 11, at the age of 74. Roger was born September 26, 1946 in Portland, Oregon to Jim and Mary (Ewing) Kirkwood.

After graduating from Clackamas High School in Milwaukee, Oregon, he enlisted into the Air Force and served 4 ½ years during the Vietnam War.

On October 2, 1965, Roger married the love of his life, Patricia Kister, of Vancouver, Washington.

Roger and his family moved to Seminole, Oklahoma. He went to work at Tinker Air Force Base and retired after 20 years as a welding supervisor. Roger loved working on old cars, his animals, and working outside in his yard.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia, his daughter, Angie Kirkwood, granddaughter, Kayleigh Miranda, both of Arlington, Texas, and one brother, Jim Kirkwood, of Stillwater.

Roger is preceded in death by his father and mother, and his sister, Mary Kirkwood.
