Robert “Bobby” Lee Yancey, Earlsboro resident, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at his home at the age of 82. Robert was born on September 6, 1939 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lon Yancey and Lillie (Ross) Yancey. Robert was one of 11 children.

Robert is survived by his five sons, Bobby Yancey and wife, Barrie of Seminole, Curtis Yancey of Seminole, Jerry Yancey of Seminole, Tony Yancey of Nashville, TN and Tommy Yancey and wife, Terri of Earlsboro; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Anne Yancey; two infant daughters, Charlotte Gay Yancey and Sheretta Jo Anne Yancey and his brothers and sisters.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jerrett Harjo, Derick Ross, Steven Yancey, Rick Sullinger, Gary Yancey and Trena Yancey. Honorary casket bearers will be Eddie Jones and Al Roberts.

August 7, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, August 8, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Jimmy Moreland officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
