Ricky Scott Williams, age 39, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away August 28, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on November 23, 1980 to parents David Gurley, Sr. and Martha Louise Harjo.
Mandy Williams, his grandmother, adopted him and raised him in Seminole, Oklahoma.
He married Meshell Williams on July 17, 2007 and sadly she passed away on January 29, 2017.
Ricky received his GED and worked as an automobile mechanic.
He is survived by his mothers Martha Harjo and Mandy Williams, son; Micheal Swisher of Seminole, Oklahoma, daughters; Savanna Wilson and Legend Burrier of Seminole, Oklahoma and Marissia Swisher of Seminole, Oklahoma, brothers; Manuel Guzman of Mesa, Arizona, David Gurley, Jr. of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Randy Harjo of Okmulgee Oklahoma and sisters; Kathrine Hicks of Seminole Oklahoma and Felicia Hicks of Frederick, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Meshell Williams, his grandpa; Cecil Harjo, sisters; Melizzie Hilburn and Pauline Guzman.
Ricky will be taken to Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2020 for a wake service.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church with Houston Tiger, Kevin Fox and Eric Tholocco officiating. Ricky’s final resting place will be at the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
