Richard Herbert Stoll, 86, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Elmwood Manor Nursing Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Richard was born February 3, 1935 in Newark, New Jersey to Dorothy L. (Bassett) Stoll and Fredrick A. Stoll.

Richard’s occupation for most of his life was in hotel maintenance. Richard loved bowling, golf, and woodworking. Richard was a master carpenter, always building on to their house, pool house, workshop and garage. After Richard and Anna moved to Seminole in 1970, they bought a farm and raised horses, cows, goats and all kind of animals.

Richard married Anna Stoll in 1952in New Jersey, where they raised their family, and Anna preceded him in death on February 14, 2006. They were married 52 wonderful years and did everything together. They worked together, bowled together, gardening and building things together.

Richard is survived by his son; Richard H. Stoll, Jr. of Germany, two daughters; Dot Sims of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Anna Moore of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandchildren; Jessica Ann Ewin, Tracy Diane Brooks, Jay Dee Sims, Jr., Andrea Overstreet, Christina Schnellbach and Jennifer Stoll and four great grandchildren, Hannah Lane Yott, Skyler Page Yott, Emma Schnellbach and Mia Schnellbach.

The family has planned a cremation service with private family service and his remains will be buried by his wife Anna at Little Cemetery.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma
