Reta Janelle (Nunnelley) Davidson of Seminole passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 13th 2023, at the age of 80.

Born in her grandmother’s home August 10th 1943 in Atwood, Oklahoma. Growing up in Allen, Oklahoma and moving to Seminole where she graduated SHS 1961. Reta worked at Blue Bell in the sewing room, working her way up to Pressing Dept supervisor and spending her last few years in Quality Control, until she retired to become a home maker and enjoy her time with her grandchildren. Reta was loved and cherished by many and she never met a stranger. She was the best mom, grandma, sister and aunt. Reta married the love of her life, Doyle Davidson, on December 2nd 1988, in Seminole, becoming a blended family of 9. She loved woodworking, gardening, and cross country traveling with Doyle.

Reta is survived by her husband, Doyle Davidson, of the home; daughters, Rachel Cole and husband Brian of Maud, Ok., and Christy Babb, of Little Oklahoma; sons, Gary Davidson and wife Beth, of Kingston, Oklahoma, Kevin Davidson and wife Rhonda, of Little, Oklahoma, and Randall Davidson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and daughter, Devra Liebschwager, of Seminole, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 on the way; sisters, Faye Cook and husband Walter, of Stigler, Oklahoma, and Debbie Cockings, and husband Monte, of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ima Nunnelley; brothers, Carey Nunnelley, and Clint Nunnelley; a son, Donald Wayne Cumpton, in 2015, and a son-in-law, Shannon Babb, in 2023.

A memorial service will be Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Garrett Napier officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
