Aleck Jacob “Red” Carpitcher, age 65 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away May 14, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19th at the Chapel, and Josh Carpitcher and Skip Foster will officiate.

Red was born August 17, 1956 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Hobby Carpitcher and Missie (Harjo) Carpitcher. He received a G.E.D. and worked as a contractor for the Chickasaw Nation. Red loved to play dominoes and cornhole, and he enjoyed sports.

He is survived by two brothers, Fisher Carpitcher of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Hobby Carpitcher of Konawa; one sister, Rosie Ann Cloud Konawa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Stephanie Rennee (Carpitcher) Carr; and four nephews.
